LEMONADE SERENADE: or The Thing in the Garden

The Thing is a Boombamaphone played by a musical elf; the lemonade is a daily treat for Miss Emmaline Twig and her best friend, a boy named Woodrow W. Worthington; and the serenade comes later, after Miss Twig has presented the elf with a little silver violin on which to play such original compositions as ""The Lily Pad Lurch."" The illustrations are oversized cartoons predominantly in violent shades of pink, green and purple. Just a lot of silly noise.
