ARCHY DOES HIS PART by Don Marquis

ARCHY DOES HIS PART

By

Pub Date: Dec. 2nd, 1935
Publisher: Doubleday, Doran

Archy goes political and looks at world affairs, the League of Nations, Washington, unemployment, and the failings of the human race. He is interviewed for the radio, sent to Washington to make an investigation -- and carries on a correspondence with his editor, who eventually becomes president (or ""tyrant"") with Archy as the brains behind the man. Follows much back-biting, a strike, firing, reinstatement and the like. Too too few bits about Mehitable. Pete the pup comes on the scene, and contributes a few poems. High spots and low spots -- but on the whole safe for all Archy fans.
