The Waters family have found a novel mode of life. Much of the time they make their home on their ketch, but between times they explore inland waterways with a 16-feet canoe, equipped with an outboard motor. This is the story of those explorations, which took them all through the interior waterways of Florida, Georgia, Louisian bayous and the rivers that feed into the Tennessee. There is a final chapter on the mechanics of camping and travel, which makes it a practical how-to-do book for enthusiasts of small fresh water craft. To the rest of us, the book seems repetitious.
