KIRKUS REVIEW

Here is some of the best writing Roosevelt did on his own adventures. Contrary to belief, he was not the frail boy legend has pictured him, though he worked hard to overcome asthma and to become an all around athlete who, with hunting his passion, also ranched. He went on expeditions that covered the globe from Dakota to Africa and down to South America. Good reading for the intrested.
