EVERY BOY'S BOOK OF SCIENCE FICTION

A superior collection of test-tube and rocket sagas by well known adult authors. Included in the ten stories are some adventures with gravity and four-dimensional machines; a tangle with creatures from other planets and prehistoric men; a peek into the future age of space-flight; an eye-bulging encounter with a man who reveals that he is really a termite; and a fascinating, informative story of the ""army"" of white corpuscles. All stories meet the high standards of science fiction for young people- firm scientific base; a moral emphasis on the supremacy of finer human instincts over the machine; good writing with a strong dash of humor. One of the best of its type.
