THE WAY TO BIBLICAL PREACHING

Protestant preachers of all denominations have been recalled to the importance of Biblical preaching, and are rediscovering the source and power of their faith in the deepened understanding of the Bible which modern study and discovery have made possible. They are increasingly anxious to communicate this Gospel to their people in depth. This book by Donald G. Miller, professor of New Testament at the Union Theological Seminary, Richmond, Virginia, is designed to help the preacher on his way to more vital and effective preaching. Dr. Miller accomplishes this purpose both by pointing the way to rich resources, and how best to use them, and also by revealing weaknesses in poor preaching which must also be overcome. He suggests ways to do this. All preachers who take their preaching seriously (not all do) will profit by this practical book.
