KIRKUS REVIEW

Intensity and nervous suspense mark these two long shorts. Deadfall concerns the problems of a lab researcher who is wanted by the F.B.I. and Party spies, and who attempts to avoid being framed for murder: The Black Cross follows Hugh Phillips as he tried to find the murderer of his wife and the secrets of her past. Plain Janes as villainesses -- but solid going.
