THE STRESS FACTOR

This foray into the labyrinths of executive stress has little to add to the well-known body of literature on the subject--it delivers the consensus of Hans Selye, Laurence J. Peter, et al. in a neat little package, pausing only to add the authority of ""interviews with a large number of people from many different walks of Life."" Problems of ""future shock,"" decision-making, conformity, pursuit of status, etc.--by now all-too-familiar fare--are only grazed by such strategies as ""live a day at a time"" and ""clarify your goals."" And breathes there a man who has not heard about the deleterious effects of noise, or the availability of relaxation and meditation techniques?
