KIRKUS REVIEW

From one dog to ten bees via fiat farmyard stylizations that score high on design, zero on stimulation. They are not depictions so much as abstractions -- and at two who wants a sea-blue pigpen with a sky-blue roof. . . or hands that don't hold. . . or a floating stone wall? Why, for that matter, need the two cats be different colors, or the five cows represent three different kinds?. But then this answers no need at all.
