KIRKUS REVIEW

Almost a new book, with an additional third (600 versus 376) of text and pictures (170 halftones versus 105) since the original edition was published in 1951 and made return appearances in six editions. Dr. Wyman is ""the authority"" in this field which has seen many new species and varieties developed in the last decade to disprove Joyce Kilmer and improve the landscaping of home gardens.
