Fatigue, as opposed to healthy tiredness, is, according to this author the source of almost every major practical, emotional and physical failure confronting modern man. Investigating the various sources of tension and fatigue, the author goes about prescribing preventative measures-- the economic organization of time, the understanding and avoidance of tense situations and emotionally extravagant encounters, a better understanding of oneself and one's capacities, the alleviation of fantasy anxiety, the eradication of sexual conflict, and a thorough grasp of one's goals. All very commonsensical, this text points out aids which are obvious but which often are overlooked. A mild form of therapy but for the really troubled individual about as beneficial as a bandaid applied to a tumor. For the tired do-it-yourselfers.
