THE DEVIL IN SATIN

It takes better than Mr. Yates' craftsmanship to persuade any intelligent reader to swallow this intricate story of an attempt to expose an evil woman, who is too clever to let her husband get anything on her, and who foils the attempts of investigators to prove her the rotter she is. It takes a thief to catch a thief, however, and eventually evil is shown up, and the innocent husband gains his freedom to marry the woman he loves.
