KIRKUS REVIEW

A short book of poems about the things children know and like best -- the docile milk horse, the delights of the variety store, the Good Humor man, the joyousness of Spring, and the mystery of night. There is a nice imagery in some: a saucy rhythm in others. The title poem is particularly fine.
