KIRKUS REVIEW

The 27 poems collected here are short and feature an easy vocabulary. Aside from these two factors, it is difficult to project the potential interest or use of book for youngsters because of the build-in monotony. Each poem centers on the eating habits of an animal, bird or person and, while some of bird poems do have a bit of fooding advice, the remainer are slight, whether viewed as information or art.
