KIRKUS REVIEW

Here is a poetic approach to insects. Pertinent facts about ants, grasshoppers, beetles, bees, dragonflies, etc., are contained within Dorothy Aldis' delicate little verses. Interpolated in the verse forms are paragraphs of didactic prose which though short and to the point somewhat interrupt the mood of the poems. A good supplement to entymological studies, in or out of school.
