THE CANDY KID

El Paso, Santa Fe, and ultimately Los Alamos for a runaround in which Jo Aragon, whose curiosity is greater than his caution, undertakes to pick up a package of perfume for Duley (duice the candy kid), sets off a series of events which he doesn't understand but which lead to his hangdog determination to see it through when his younger cousin is killed and he has a score of guilt and anger to settle. Not her best, this is still a superior show of suspense in which the action is circuitous, the treatment unruffled.
