PARENTS AND CHILDREN GO TO SCHOOL by Dorothy Baruch

PARENTS AND CHILDREN GO TO SCHOOL

By

Publisher: Scott, Foresman

This is the best exposition of nursery school technique and practice that I have found. Through actually following the progress of a day in nursery school, through reporting verbatim conversation of children, through anecdote and ""case"" reports, Mrs. Baruch gives one not only convincing proof of the value of nursery school, but a demonstration of the problems it takes as its province and the way they are solved. Parent education is treated as part and parcel of the plan -- and here again one feels that the trained nursery school administrator serves as mother confessor and psychiatrist in one. An important book.
