Dr. Baruch is known throughout the educational world, and to the general public for not only her Juvenile books, but for such contributions to parent education as Personal Problems of Everyday Living. Her viewpoint is sound, balanced, sympathetic, and she strikes a wise and realistic middle of the road position, not only in analyzing the parent and child relationship, but in her plea for tolerance, true democracy at home, facing of facts, admitting fears and meeting them, and allowing for elasticity to cope with each problem as it comes. A constructive book, thoroughly readable.
