KIRKUS REVIEW

A short, slight tale of a kangaroo's babyhood and growth and experiences in the world of men -- which is a nice animal story with a good feel of the country. Chut is adopted and raised by a young couple who, when money gets tight, sell him to a showman whom he hates. He finally escapes, but news of his viciousness is circulated and he is pursued until he finally returns to his own kind. Plus juvenile sale.
