KIRKUS REVIEW

More definitely popularized than preceding books by Dorothy Deming, and enticingly dished up for the young girl with leanings in that direction, -- this tale of lively Ginger Lee, who enlists in the army as a war nurse and is sent to Camp Guion in the south, far from home and from Miles, her fiance. Miles breaks with her when he finds himself turned down for air service because of a bad heart. Ginger acquits herself well, acquires two new beaus, but finds that Miles is the real one for her, when she meets him again in the plant where he is working as laboratory scientist and to which she is transferred for industrial nursing.
