YOU CAN LIVE IN AN APARTMENT

Chatty, informal book on apartment living. Most of the material is fairly general and therefore familiar, but special pointers pull the book out of the general mill. Finding an apartment -- desirable features to consider -- the lease. Moving and how to get it done efficiently. Decoration, furniture, budget, housework, the servant problem, cooking. A groundwork book covering the main aspects of the subject. The chapter on gadgets is the most fun. On the whole, the book seems pretty elementary, but probably that is what is needed. Publishers plan tie-up with household furnishings departments in department stores, and have some special promotion plans.
