ALL CHILDREN LISTEN

This is a Radio House Book edited by Albert N. Williams written by a woman who has had great experience in the children's radio field. We hope that it will arouse parents, educators and the industry as a whole to the great importance of providing our young with far better programs. In former days we believed that parents allowed their offspring to listen to drivel to keep them quiet and allow mothers time for more selfish purposes than taking care of their own young. Now with the women taking on more and more responsibility so that they do have to keep their children from being constantly underfoot, the radio must come to our rescue and provide sounder material. The Axis nations well know the importance of reaching a young audience and pouring their theories into willing ears, we must counteract this and build up the ideas of our culture in our own. There is no time to be lost, we must give the next generation the very best that we can in radio and books, we must fight harder against the endless time-wasters; the eagerness and open-mindedness of youth can not be recaptured.
