KIRKUS REVIEW

While the garden scenes and flower arrangements in photographs illustrating each week of the year leave much to be desired by way of reproduction value, the text under ""Garden Reminders"" fulfills what has been a need in garden calendars for years. Occasionally the text consists of quotations, but in the main it provides the gardener with the seasonal reminders -- what to do when -- that makes the calendar functional throughout the year. Usually too space is allowed for additional notes of ones own. Another original aspect is that the engagement space is divided into two columns, one for engagement notes away from home, one at home. At the end there is a page for local weather notes, another for record of bloom, a third for seedsmen and nurserymen. Spiral binding. Compact size.
