DOAK WALKER: 3 time All-American

An ecstatic tribute to the great All-American, but with enough facts and figures to satisfy the boys and bobby soxers of the gridiron. The early years as a child catching the footballs thrown by his coach father, through high school drills, training at summer camp, and the college years with thrills and awards are treated in an earnest though elementary fashion. The fans will love the many photographs and game rehashes. As for Doak -- he seems to be a model young man. A very attractive format.
