This is a disappointing looking book, after the technical excellence of Find the Animals, for the page layout leaves much to be desired, the ink is grayish, the illustrations old-fashioned looking in the way some textbook primers look dated. And yet the idea is a good one. The face of the clock, with movable hands, appears through a hole in every page, and the verse belonging to each period of the child's day deals with matter-of-fact incidents, familiar to most four and five year olds.
