FISHING MEMORIES

Most people can easily picture the Arms, D. N. and husband J. T., bicycling through the Cathedral towns of France or England but we'll wager everyone, will be so surprised they'll buy the book, when told that Dorothy Noyes Arms has written her fishing memories. Fishermen are accepted but fisherwomen again bring to mind French fishing villages rather than the authoress in her daring walking skirt six inches from the ground and her stout (?) boots -- high buttoned shoes with rubbers -- sloshing through muddy Maine woods on her wedding trip long before the days of slacks and waders for the fair sex. It is a delightful tale that will interest and encourage women anglers and it gives men the chance of a lifetime to fish with a woman who can camp, cast and compete with the best of 'em. It has Arms' charm galore.
