THE SANTA CLAUS BEARS

A tiny book- cloying but an early entry for Christmas - about two big-hearted teddies, Roly and Poly, who help Santa. After a fine record of doing chores up North, conscientious Roly and Poly fall out of Santa's sled on Christmas Eve and land ""kerfluff"" in snowy wilds. Undaunted, they tear up their neck ribbons to make presents for the birds, and as a post-rescue reward, are made permanent ""Santas"" for woodland creatures. Minute, brightly colored pictures of toys, bears, Santa and snow, and a text printed in script, make a gay gift book.
