MUDDY PAWS by Dorothy Smith

MUDDY PAWS

By

Publisher: Crowell

Dogs, and the ups and downs of children and dogs versus parents and clean homes, are with us again. This time, mother and father are not too adamant, and dogs and children fare pretty well as the Palmers take the muddy paws and other tribulations of puppy owners in their stride. A counterfeiting plot is extra, and there is a last minute adventure, which might have been grim, but man's best friend saves the day. Nothing extraordinary about the book, but the pleasant fact that the dogs in question are mongrels that any child can live up to. A suburban town, a brother and sister, some friends and neighbors round out the picture.
