A little horse that isn't actually a pony is a dream come true for many children, and here in pictures and slight text is a real story of such a horse. There's kinship and understanding in the author's conception of the little horse's regret that he couldn't do what the big horses did, but eventually he finds his place with a young master, and he discovers that he can do things the big horses can't do.
