WARM EARTH

The processes by which the earth gives life and growth to its plants and creatures are described in prose that is almost poetry. One gets a glowing sense of this miracle of life-giving soil and water and rock and change -- amazing in so small a book. Excellent drawings effectively diagram the processes. It is unfortunate that the book looks more juvenile than its contents. Too brief for reference use, it is nevertheless a book for the serious young student of nature's more profound phenomens.
