THE TRAITOR GAME

Having served a decade for a crime he did not commit, John Lane returns home to a shaky Quebec--Canada's Prime Minister has just been assassinated; the Separatists are stirred up and the French province might be planning to secede. John's politically involved friends Max and Mary suspect that the worst is yet to come and that it's the work of Nicolas Moncrieff, Premier of Ontario. They also believe that Moncrieff was the man responsible for John's prison sentence. There's an insane soldier of fortune; a horrendous bombing in the House of Commons and the Governor General gets kidnapped. A long inane session. . . even Canadian Club would adjourn.
