A bit above the average circulating library romance is this story of a junior officer in the British navy, and of his abortive efforts to win the distinction demanded by his grandfather's will before he can inherit the estate. There is a certain originality in the telling, and a humor in some of the situations, and there is a love story that will catch the library market. A safe book for conservatives.
