KIRKUS REVIEW

Though for a very definite group of readers, this book deserves a star because it is virtually the first complete life of the great inventor. Illustrated by Kriegh Collins, it will have many diagrams to explain the various experiments. Born to a wealthy Irish mother and Italian father, he worked hard all his life until he died in 1937. Being unversed in knowledge of the technicalities of this field, the thing that interested us the most was Marconi's constant struggle to make life safer for those at sea. To show up what wonders he accomplished, there are some accounts of naval disasters, notably that of the Titanic.
