KIRKUS REVIEW

Originally scheduled for Spring publication, this is now scheduled for Fall. Ingells makes his accounts of scientific achievements in aviation as exciting as his description of escape; of courage; and the pilots, engineers, civilian and military experts are the heroes of his story. Even barnyard aces rate a chapter. Revelations of developments during the war -- effect on industry- serial progress made in Germany and reported by scientists in custody -- all contribute to an absorbing book. Its weakness lies in the author's formula for peace-a country bristling with armament.
