KIRKUS REVIEW

The kidnapping of four youngsters holidaying in France brings tough guy Jim Delany, Crime Consultant to the (last seen) scene. The mother of one of the two brother-sister sets is shot; one of the boys turns up floating in a deep spring. Before Delany can get to the bottom of this he has to go spelunking...he also has to crawl into bed with another mother. Horror of horrors, could a plot to assassinate DeGaulle really be behind all this? Would you believe it? Would you believe Queen Elizabeth maybe?
