KIRKUS REVIEW

Not sensational enough for wide appeal -- and a bit too preachy, so that it gives one somewhat the effect of freshman hygiene lectures -- this book lacks the push which would secure a general market. Indictment of drugs, specifically alcohol, tobacco, tea, coffee, narcotics (these suffer less than the more common drugs). Pass it up.
