45 LEVELS TO SEXUAL UNDERSTANDING AND ENJOYMENT

Dr. Harper is a retired counselor and with the questionable help of Dr. Stokes has written a repetitive and awesomely banal book about various aspects of sexuality. Starting with the ten year-old preadolescent who has no satisfactory books available (many, certainly Wardell Pomeroy, won't agree); masturbation (""in itself always a good experience""); myths (""Negroes"" and oysters); premarital sex; newlyweds; conflicts and desires; the orgasm (""Only through orgasm can a woman know the fullness of life""); abortion (not available usually to unmarried mothers except in New York); sex in later life; homosexuality (obviously the good Dr. Harper believes in getting them straight via counseling); etc. etc. Time has dated a great deal of this as well as Dr. Harper's assumption of the chaste ignorance of his readership.
