KIRKUS REVIEW

A very fetching format, with decorations in color -- and in the manner of Peter Hunt -- brightening the pages for a book about food, the right kind -- for you. Our food habits, and the concepts, attitudes, associations which have formed them; weight -- in terms of caloric needs -- and the caloric values of specific foods; gaining, and losing, and the correct dist which considers nutrition as well as result; the daily needs for certain nutrients -- and basic menus; and the specific phases -- infancy, adolescence, pregnancy. Sound information which through the many charts and tables is easily assimilated.
