FROM CRETIN TO GENIUS

Can't see much reason for this book, by the doctor associated in most minds with transplanting of monkey glands. In this volume, he uses dictum after dictum on the subject of genius as a springboard for discussion of personalities to prove his points. Artists, mathematicians, writers, scientists, musicians, in brief biographies, or illustrative anecdotes. Title misleading since discussion of cretins confines itself to a few cases of precocity which failed to develop to genius.
