KIRKUS REVIEW

This is the first time that Dr. Seuss has done a book which seems to be thoroughly juvenile in appeal. The story told in the captions is that of a faithful elephant who sat on an egg for months and hatched out an elephant bird. Sheer nonsense, but good fun.
