THE GAY MOTHER GOOSE

This does not pretend to be an exhaustive collection of Mother Goose rhymes, but a fairly careful analysis discovers most of the old standbys and some of the less familiar ones. The arrangement, under topical headings, is skilfully done and almost compensates for the lack of table of contents or index. The drawings are direct in color and technique, giving an impression of childlike simplicity. Very French in their flavor -- and very charming.
