In the descriptive text the individual countries are not confined to physical characteristics, but the whole presents a coordinated pattern of social history, economic trends, the eliminate, national customs resources- and something of the key areas as a brief background for travellers. There are numerous line maps, relief maps in color, some illustrations of which are in color, and in better reproduction than the somewhat color of last volume reported.
