KIRKUS REVIEW

Captain James Ogilvie runs one of those little errands for Lord Kitchener who is about to make his major move in the Boer War. Ogilvie bluffs his way into the camp and the affections of the commander via a ""red"" diamond, beds a British doxy, and completes the mission -- with a lip both stiff and upper caste. Fast and good of its type.
