KIRKUS REVIEW

Of Chick Bronson, down on his luck- way, way down, when he is bullied and beaten by saloon keeper Stanger, and then given a contact to Vince Kimbrough through an outlaw who is to die and has left a cache of stolen money. Believing that Stanger alone is responsible for the violence which rides the range, Chick is to learn that Kimbrough too is without scruple, that the resentment of the ranchers is deserved, and in his final action he puts an end to all this enmity. Snappy.
