THE OREGON RIFLES

Barney Stansel, 17 and fresh off the farm, joins the Oregon Volunteers where he grows up quickly, learns to face fear in himself. At the death of the sergeant he admires, he is on the run with a deserter who saves his life, and they have a hard time staying alive in their flight until they take refuge with the dead man's relatives and Barney proves his courage in the Indian raid to follow... A somewhat different story provides lots of action-capably.
