KIRKUS REVIEW

A collection of gently satirical verse in the Ogden Nash vein, but not as intricate nor as barbed. On the whole, well-sustained, whether in parodies of Mencken or Boake Carter or Gertrude Stein, or in quiet derision of everyday events. Serious undertone to some. Very current in interest. Variety of versification, with frequent take-offs on recognizable poems. Pleasant entertainment.
