For all of those who like word games but do not care to take their crossword puzzles straight, and for all of those -- and it is by now a goodly company -- who sincerely admire the talents of Mr. E. E. Cummings, this volume is recommended. the poems in the first half look out fiercely at the of our age. They are -- they are -- they are seanking; but they are also very skillful, very fine and is the great tradition of classic retire. Caviar to the general, but to the sophisticated a rare concretion. The last half of the book largely of love poems, slightly metaphysical. immaturity here apparent, his topographical, with his style, with his highly of -- time with a high skill of his and a of course, hif meanings.
