The author works out from the Roman Catholic Breviary a bit of comment or service to be used each day with Lauds and Vespers. These go through the church year. The result is a devotional book which Roman and Anglo Catholics will find of interest. Of particular interest to all concerned with the Liturgical movement which aims to increase the spirit of worship in our churches. Should have bookshop and library interest. Edward Watkin has not only an excellent idea but his plan of execution is sound.
