THE EXQUISITE SIREN

An historical novel dealing with the career of Peggy Shippen, secret agent for the British during the Revolution. In love with Andre, she works with him on various assignments, but is forced to marry Benedict Arnold for political reasons and is unable to save Andre when he is captured. Based on historical fact, it yet reads as lively and entertaining fiction. Not top ranking, but much better than adequate.
