ABINGER HARVEST

As delightful a collection of essays as I have come across in many a day. Ranges wide, covering subjects of current interest, books, the classics, the past, personal predilections and interests. Brief, pungent, witty, and charmingly written. Forster is a keen observer of life and mankind, and cannot refrain from poking fun at his fellow countrymen. At times there is a suggestion of Saki though the humor is more restrained.
